FAQs
People Have Been Asking
How do I make a booking?
Bookings can be made online by going to our ‘book now’ page. You will then be redirected to our partner Yellow Days where you can create an account and make a booking, all in less than a couple of minutes!
Our camps are currently £45 per day but may vary depending on site. The camps run from 9.30-4.30pm each day, with an additional early start option (9am) for an £3 extra daily.
All bookings must be made by the legal guardian of the child.

Do you accept childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare?
Although Ofsted compliant, we are not yet registered with Ofsted. We hope to be by January 2026. Until then, we sadly cannot accept Childcare Vouchers.
How are Genies grouped on camp?
The children are split into two aged groups: 5 – 8 years old and 9 – 13 years old. Each activity is specially tailored to each age group to ensure they age appropriate, but also equally thrilling and exciting!
The size of each group will vary depending on the venue being used, however, they typically do not exceed 25 children per group.
All children are together for the scheduled break and lunch time.

What if my child does not wish to participate in every activity?
We encourage children to participate in all activities and to try something new,
however, if they do not wish to then we have a breakout space where children can
go (attended by an adult) to draw, read a book or even just have some quiet time!
Children are also welcome to watch an activity on the sidelines or even help the
camp leaders!
Do you have first aiders on site?
We always have a designated first aider on site, along with a designated
safeguarding lead. Medication is to be given to staff at drop off, clearly labelled, and will then be stored appropriately whereby staff can easily access it if required. Parents will also be informed of any injuries that required medical attention and / or if medication has been administered.
What are your staff to child ratios?
Our current ratios are 1 adult to every 8 children for our 5-8 year olds, and 1 adult to every 12 children for children above this age.
What happens if the weather is extremely poor?
We will try our best to continue any outdoor activities in the event or poor weather. However, in extreme conditions, certain activities will either be cancelled (with another indoor activity taking its place) or moved inside where possible.
What if my child loses something?
All lost belongings will be put into our lost property container and displayed at pick up for parents and children to look through, though we cannot guarantee that lost items will be found. We encourage all children to look after their belongings throughout the day and maintain good organisation. We also ask for clothing (coats, jumpers etc) to
be labelled where possible.
Can I book individual days?
Yes, you can book individual days when making a booking. You do not have to book for the whole week.
If you need to change the dates your child is booked on to, please email us at info@geniescamp.com and we will be sure to help!
What should my child bring with them?
Weather appropriate clothing.
If warm weather, please pack a sun hat and sun cream.
If cold / rainy weather, please pack a raincoat and jumper.
Water bottle (name of child visible).
Spare clothes.
Snacks - nut free.
What not to bring:
Sandals / flip flops
Expensive or designer clothing
Toys (unless child uses a fidget toy)
Mobile phones
Can I stay with my child on camp?
Unfortunately not. Parents will not be able to proceed past our drop off and pick up zone, due to our safeguarding and insurance policy. Only under special circumstances are visitors allowed to be on site, all of whom have undergone a relevant background check and have an enhanced DBS.
